Jean Mills has been in private practice since 1996. She specialises in pediatrics and oncology, but more recently in Nutirgenomics – the study of nutrition and genetics and how people respond to food based on their genetic make–up.
Jean has a BSc Med (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics from UCT and will be speaking to us on Thursday 25 February on the future of nutrition and how the study of Nutrigenomics will help prevent world-wide diseases such as obesity, Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and malnutrition.
