Fundraiser Event with Glynnis Breytenbach at Citadel

Glynnis gave a sombre, yet factual review of the political situation gripping South Africa and highlighted the issues that will face the newly elected government after the elections. The prospect of a coalition government is a very real scenario and many parties are currently discussing just that. Glyniss urged everyone eligible to cast their vote on election day. A lively discussion followed the talk and the talk and again the raffle was well supported.

Members and guests received a welcome gift from Environ and a complimentary glass of Wade Bales Brut Rose on arrival. Dish Food & Social provided the catering and wine by the glass was expertly served by our bursar Maxime.

We had all of our bursars in attendance and each introduced themselves and their field of study to the audience. Sisanda welcomed the speaker and Palesa ended the talk by thanking the speaker.
