Christmas Lunch and some farewells at the Adele Searll 100 Club

Thanks to these two lovely ladies, our Committee members, Dominique Lambert and Karin Leusink, our Christmas Market was a huge success. The stalls were excellent with top quality products, our members and guests could be seen carrying large shopping bags full of their purchases. Thanks to Karina Briers-Louw everyone present could enjoy a glass of pink Perdeberg bubbly upon their arrival. The Table Bay Hotel did not disappoint with their wonderful Christmas lunch. Natalie Jaffe had provided spectacular raffle prizes including the first prize which was a Dr Sebagh gift hamper to the value of R32000 as well as providing every attendee a gift bag of Dr Sebagh products. Thank you Natalie for everything you have always done for the Club. We achieved the best takings ever for our raffle at this lunch! Thank you for the generosity of all the kind people who have donated the raffle prizes for this luncheon and throughout the year. Our entertainer, the well known magician, Jacques Le Sueur kept us all spellbound with his magic tricks which necessitated the assistance of our four bursars Jenna Annandale, Micaela Lurie, Micaela Palmer and Vuyani Jens. Thank you to Chantelle Paans for mentoring all our bursars. Thank you also to Vivienne Morkel for her assistance with all the charities and to Carole Armstrong-Hooper and Rebecca Harvie for all their help. Photos courtesy of Jenna Annandale. At my final lunch as Chairperson of the Adele Searll 100 Club I stepped down after three years as Chairperson and five years on the Committee and I would like to thank all the Committee members for their support and Jenny Cadman, our Club Manager as well as all the Club members. We also bade farewell to Karina Briers-Louw who has served for over ten years on the Committee. We welcomed a new Committee member Kirsten Smit and a new Chairperson for 2020, Rebecca Harvie. I wish Rebecca and the Committee all the best for 2020 and will always continue to support the Club as a member. I also wish all our members a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year 2020.
