Open the grid before Eskom finally collapses
As South Africans we are deeply concerned about the future of ESKOM, which affects not only us but the economy at large.
Please join us for an online talk on Wednesday 10 June, where Independent Energy Expert Ted Blom will address us on the current status of Eskom and the energy crisis South Africa faces. Will the power utility be able to consistently keep the lights on?
Ted Blom is a senior mining and energy strategist and tactician with a Master’s Degree in Business from Wits Business School, Commercial and Law degrees from the University of Port Elizabeth, and a PMD from Harvard Business School. In addition he completed his Mineral Economics qualification under the auspices of Professor Dennis Buchanan from Imperial College of Mining, London. Ted has over 27 years’ experience in management, mining, commodities, energy and strategy execution. Furthermore he remains actively involved in the electricity debate, both on radio, TV, and in print. And he is currently involved in Mining Projects worldwide.

Cost: R100 per person (This will include the talk and 1 raffle ticket). R20 (Per raffle ticket. If you would like to purchase additional raffle tickets, you can do so when booking).

Keeping connected and showing we care: Each talk we will feature at least one of our regular charities who have an immediate need. Should you like to participate you are welcome to. As part of our annual ‘Blanket Drive’, the charities U-TURN and TEARS are in need of blankets. A blanket costs between R50-R200. If you would like to donate to this drive, please let Jenny know when booking. We will arrange purchase and deliver of blankets to the respective charity. Keep an eye on our social media to view.
