With the end of the year upon us, we have some fun in store with the annual Christmas Market and magician extraordinaire Jacques le Sueur, from Cape Town Magic Club.
Join us for a shopping extravaganza, a delicious three course lunch and an afternoon of Christmas fun and magic! A variety of hand selected stores will showcase their exquisite items, before the lunch. Jacques le Sueur will take us on a magical journey, after the lunch.
Jacques leads a double life, by night he is a magician extraordinaire, performing for dignitaries and at celebrity parties, and by day he is a local hero, entertaining in townships and hospitals around the continent. Jacques has performed worldwide for 9 Presidents and several members of Royalty. The show promises to be an unforgettable experience, not to be missed.
Without our members’ ongoing support and commitment, the Adele Searll 100 Club would not be the iconic organisation that it is today. We value your contribution and the effort you bring to the great work we do. Cost: Members R500 Guests R550. An array of incredible Raffle Prizes will be available. Perderberg MCC on arrival.
Starter: Lemon herb quinoa, wild rocket, caramelized walnuts, sweet pickled red onions, roasted hibiscus beetroot, honey and cumin sesame seed dressing.
Main: Festive Roast Beef, fondant potatoes, glazed carrots, green beans, cauliflower, yorkshire puddings roast pan jus.
Vegetarian: Phyllo Crackers, leek, mushroom and spinach phyllo parcels, confit plum tomato relish.
Dessert: Ginger bread swiss roll, vanilla orange cream and hazelnut macaroon.

2020 lunch dates: 11 February, 10 March, 21 May, 19 August, 7 October, 10 November, 1 December. These dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances, if they do change, we endeavour to give you as much notice as we can.
A special note from the Chairperson, Suzette Raymond:
I would like to take this opportunity to inform everyone that after three years as Chairperson and 5 years on the Committee I shall be stepping down at the end of the year as well as from the Committee. It has been my great privilege to serve on the Committee with such wonderful ladies with whom it has been a pleasure to work. I look forward to attending the lunches in the future and to welcoming the new, very capable Chairperson for 2020 whom I will be announcing and presenting to you all at our end of year Christmas function. I will always continue to support the Club and all that it stands for.
We also bid farewell to Karina Briers-Louw who will also be stepping down from the Committee at the end of the year. Karina has been a key Committee member for over 10 years. You will all recognize her for so kindly supplying us with Perdeberg wines every month and donating sparkling wine every Christmas event. Thank you Karina for everything you have done for the club.
